The ADP report showed that the number of new jobs in the U.S. private sector reached 143,000 in September, exceeding analysts' expectations of 128,000.

A headline figure of 143K new jobs filled in the private sector last month, up from the upwardly revised 103K from the previous month and the 128K analysts were expecting.
In more good news for inflation watchers, the gains made in the labour market did not manifest into higher wages. Pay growth came in at 4.7% year-on-year, down from August’s 7.6% annual wage gains.
