Key Warning Signs of Fraud
Did they contact you unexpectedly?
Be cautious if someone contacts you out of the blue and quickly brings up funds, accounts, or investments.
Are they rushing your decision?
Phrases like “act now,” “do it immediately,” or “you’ll miss out” are pressure tactics.
Are they manipulating your emotions?
Scammers often create excitement, anxiety, fear, or scarcity to push you into making decisions emotionally.
Are they stopping you from verifying independently?
If they discourage you from checking the official website, confirming with a third party, or tell you to follow only their instructions, it is a red flag.
Beware of Scams Impersonating EBC
EBC will never:

Do not delete the app. Keep chat records, transfer receipts, recipient account information, screenshots of platform pages, and related emails and SMS messages.

Contact customer service through EBC’s official channels as soon as possible, and contact your bank or payment institution immediately to try to freeze the accounts involved or block the payment order.
