EBC Financial Group (EBC), through its team members, brought sport, learning and community support to students at Wat Uthai Tharam School in Bangkok's Huai Khwang District on Tuesday, 23 June 2026, as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.
The initiative set out to support youth development, encourage healthy and active lifestyles, and put educational and recreational resources directly into students' hands. Many of the children come from low-income families with limited access to extracurricular opportunities. For them, the day offered hands-on experiences designed to build confidence, teamwork and a sense of community.
As an Official Partner of FC Barcelona, EBC shares the club's vision of empowering future generations through sport, education and personal development. The CSR day reflected that shared commitment, promoting values such as discipline, perseverance and unity on and off the pitch.
Wat Uthai Tharam School is a public institution serving students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Modest in size, it plays an outsized role in supporting underprivileged children with access to education, life skills and community support.
The programme paired recreation with hands-on giving. EBC team members joined students for friendly football matches across three teams, a penalty shootout challenge, and an aerobic dance session led by the school, all aimed at promoting fitness, teamwork and engagement between students and staff. Snacks, beverages, ice cream and refreshments were shared throughout the day, and participating students received prizes including EBC sports jerseys and towels.
EBC Thailand also donated a range of items to support the school and its community, including stationery and learning materials, sports equipment and activity jerseys, and a spread of food and refreshments such as assorted biscuits, Pai-Thong ice cream, soft drinks, candies and snacks. The team also provided EBC hand fans and other essential supplies for school and community activities.
